Good day to everyone!

I present to you unique logs from the renowned firm Revell, in a scale 1:253 not repeated by anyone.

Even in school years American submarine of George Washington type often caught my eyes, in various sources. The largest reproduction of this boat in section was in Physics cabinet on a poster. And then I found a plastic analogue in the store: “How well should this bird sing” (from cartoon about Baron Munchausen). Alas, miracle didn’t happen. Details were poorly molded, there was multiple burr, what had to be round (torpedoes, missiles, etc.) was not even oval, but multi-faceted. Inconsistencies chased me throughout the building of the model. In the end, to get something like a submarine, I had to arm myself with a rasp, and later with 100th sandpaper. I cut debottlenecking on the inside, added etched railing and stairs, made a bridge at the wheelhouse, glazing, a flag. I added decals, because together with the boat there was just a number and the name of the submarine. The submarine model was painted with paints Tamya, Humbrol.
