History of the ship model prototype

Built in 1775, two-masted Schooner Independence participated in the war for American independence. Schooner armed with six guns and eight falconets on swivels.
Schooner-type sailing vessel having at least two masts with slanting sails, a feature which is the size of a small pellet that allows walking in shallow water and skorost.Pervye vessels with schooner rigging emerged in 17-18 centuries in Holland and England, but the widespread use of they received Amerike.Oni had 2 masts with Spritsail and used for cabotage.
In 17-18. were the main pirate ships in the Caribbean.

About this ship model

Ship model to scale 1:35 dimensions – 30” * 25” * 13”.

I collected model ship six months. This is my first experience in making models out of wood. Model laid out in comparison – started with partwork ashet of the Black Pearl.
