Good time of the day, colleagues!
Let me introduce you a model of US aircraft of 5th generation F-22 by “Hasegawa” made in scale 1/48.
What can I say… Assemblability was on top, I needed putty only once to remove traces of pushers, that was on the inner surface (you may have noticed, if you look closely and very attentively), but I still decided to remove them.
I was painting with Gunze (exterior) and Akan (interior). I used:
- color photoetching by Eduard (cabin), wheels by Eduard, arms by Eduard.
- Washing by Tamiya.
I didn’t like the decals (they were fragile), I had to torment, and I haven’t coped with some of them – I changed them to paint.
Edward stand, imitation of asphalt – sandpaper painted with Revell paint (asphalt).
I was working over this model generally for about 8 months.
Frankly, I’m very satisfied with the result.
The aircraft is very beautiful. I recommend it.
Waiting for your wishes and comments.
Thank you.
wow!
Hello,
Superb build! May I ask how you did go about painting the exhaust nozzle and the surrounding area? What colours did you use? I just ordered the same kit and I’m preparing myself
where did you get this kit?
