The troops of the Soviet Union after the victorious offensive in Germany were taking four-axle motrices as trophies. Motrices weren’t included in the mass passenger transportation, but they were used by heads of local branches of the railways. Remains of motrices are still found on various reserve bases. Here is a model of a trophy four-axle motrice VT 137 with a trailer car VS 137 in the color of the USSR Ministry of Railways. It’s impossible now to trace the history of some of the exact numbers of motorices. In the German catalogs there are repeated mentions that the fate of some 137 motrices of VT series #xxx is unknown.
The model has been completely disassembled and remade.
I remade the lighting. From the design of the train model I ruthlessly threw away the DIP switches. The logic of their work is subject only to the Chinese mind. All the lighting in the “native” construction was made with lamps, running lamps as well. I left the lamps for lighting in the cabin but running lights I made using LEDs, with switching along the direction of travel.
It is painted in the style of the USSR Ministry of Railways. SA-3 couplers. And there’s something else concerning the little things.
